Hyun-Shik Lim is part of Joon Shin's criminal gang. He was arrested as a con artist. Hyun-Shik is a good actor and has working knowledge of psychology. He uses this to tell believable stories to manipulate other people into cooperating with the criminals, and presumably it is how he succeeded as a con artist before getting arrested.
