Kai is the Boss of the CrossEyes organization, whose symbol and namesake comes from the cross marks around Kai's eyes. Kai's only two interests are food and power. He is a ruthless killer who targets powerful sorcerers and butchers them to appropriate their magical abilities. But he has his own ability, as well: an aura which has the same effect as Hole's rain, crippling any sorcerers in its range.
