About Makoto Fukamachi
A 40 year old Japanese mountaineering photographer and climber. In 1993, he lost one of his companions in an Everest expedition and considered quitting mountain climbing. Shortly after, in a shop in Kathmandu, he finds a Pocket Autographic Kodak camera who supposedly belonged to George Mallory, an English mountaineer who went missing on Mount Everest during an expedition in 1924.
