Nogiku is the stepsister of Kasane and the daugher of the woman whom Sukeyo Fuchi was taking on the appearance of. After the death of Sukeyo, Nogiku's father sexually, emotionally and physically abused her, forcing Nogiku to speak, dress and act like Sukeyo, and refusing to call her by her name.
